PETALING JAYA: Palm oil exports from June 1 to June 25 rose 3.9% compared to the same period last month. Cargo surveyor Intertek said 1.01 million tonnes of palm oil were tracked in the period compared to May’s 979,327 tonnes.
Crude palm oil (CPO) third-month futures was up RM58 to RM2,308 per tonne. Meanwhile, RHB Research Institute Sdn Bhd said IOI Corp expects CPO prices to rise to between RM2,800 and RM3,000 per tonne and remain at that level for the rest of this year.
